# Uploading your own Firm risk assessment

## Introduction

If you prefer to use a custom risk assessment that aligns with your firm’s specific policies or internal compliance frameworks, you can now **Upload your own**.  This option allows you to bypass the default Firm risk assessment derived from the official AUSTRAC starter kit.

## Step-by-step instructions

1. Click the **Firm risk assessment** tab.
2. Click **Upload your own**.
3. A pop up window will appear, providing two options: 

   * Drag and **drop** your Firm risk assessment file directly into the designated area.
   * Alternatively, click **browse files** and select the desired file from your computer.
4. Once your file is selected (or dropped), click the **Upload** button within the pop-up.

Supported file types are PDF, DOC or DOCX.

## Next Steps

After successful upload, your custom risk assessment will be displayed, and you can proceed with further actions (Upload new risk assessment, Restart risk assessment or view the Audit trail).
