Summary

This article describes how to complete and record a Criminal history check to satisfy the due diligence requirements for a Compliance Officer. This may include running the search via InfoTrack or triSearch and/or uploading a valid Criminal History Check document to satisfy due diligence requirements.

Step-by-Step Instructions

  1. Locate the staff member under the Staff onboarding tab, click View to open their onboarding profile, and locate the Personnel Due Diligence (PDD) section.
  2. Find the Criminal history check item in the checklist.
  3. If you have not performed the search yet, use the provided link to conduct the search within the InfoTrack or triSearch platform. The button labelled Criminal history check will link you to the relevant page within the InfoTrack or triSearch platform.
  4. Once you have the search results (or if you already have the document), click the Upload button to open a pop-up titled Criminal history check.
  5. In the pop-up window, either drag and drop the file, or click browse files and select the valid criminal history check document for the staff member (supported formats include PDF, DOC, or DOCX).
  6. Click Complete to upload the document and mark this check as complete. A confirmation banner will appear in the top right corner, and the status indicator updates to a green checkmark showing COMPLETED.

Next steps: finalise onboarding

  1. Repeat any remaining due diligence tasks until all mandatory items show as completed.
  2. Click Onboard at the bottom of the screen.
  3. In the confirmation dialog, click Onboard again to finalise.
  4. A success notification will appear confirming the staff member has been successfully onboarded.
