Summary
This article explains how to confirm client details, send the onboarding requests, and review the results in the AML Summary dashboard once completed.
When to Use This
Use this when you are ready to dispatch the KYC and VOI requests to your client and want to monitor their progress and review the submitted documentation.
Step-by-Step Instructions
-
After configuring the client card, you will be prompted to confirm your details for two-factor authentication. Click Confirm.
-
The client will receive the request to complete their Verification of Identity (VOI), the KYC onboarding form, along with any other requested AML information.
-
The system will automatically run the PEPs, Sanctions and Adverse media screening in the background without requiring client action.
-
In the AML summary, you can view the status of each check (e.g., Sent, Pending, Completed).
-
Scroll down to view the Individual checks section to see pre-populated data gathered from the KYC form, reducing manual data entry.
To review the verification documents, click Download or View next to the Verification of Identity check to see the provided headshot and ID documents.
-
Click View next to the PEPs, Sanctions and Adverse media check to see the screening results.
-
Click View next to the KYC onboarding form to read the client's submitted responses.
Common Questions
-
Does the client need to do anything for the PEPs and Sanctions check? No, this screening is conducted automatically in the background.
-
Where can I see the documents the client uploaded? You can view and download all uploaded identity documents directly from the AML Summary page.
Troubleshooting Tips
-
Client hasn't received the request:
- If the mobile number or email address is correct: the client may simply have missed the notification. Find the client on the onboarding dashboard, click the three-dot action menu next to the specific task (e.g., Verification of Identity), select Resend, and click Send — no need to recreate the order.
- If the mobile number or email address is incorrect: update it first. Open the client's party details, click the edit pencil icon next to their name to correct the number or email, save, then resend using the steps above.
- If you've resent once, confirmed the details are correct, and the client still hasn't received it: this is likely a delivery issue and you should reach out to Support, rather than continuing to resend.
-
Whose mobile number should be entered when sending the VOI to the client? The person in the firm who will be performing the verification.
